Operation Split Synapse: Menkent

On the 01.10.2185 the Ministry of Defense had Issued a new Major Order: Liberate Menkent or Aesir Pass to secure a encryption Key.

We decided to deploy to Menkent and secure the Encryption Key for ourselves.

For this 'Operation Hidden Key' was created.

To Execute it we Liberated Lesath on the 04.10.2185 at 0813.

Now all Olympus Divers were Ordered to Deploy in specified Areas to act as a Distraction so a Single Squad could Attack their Datacenter and secure the Encryption Key.

At 0900, All Squads were deployed except for Kingsley, Phantom, Todesbringer and Deegs they formed the Infiltration Squad.

At 1000 the Enemy Communications were jammed and the Earth was Scorched by Orbital Fire prior to the Squads Arrival.

The Squad touched down at 1002 and started their Assault.

Phantom disappeared, Todesbringer and Deegs fought alongside Kingsley.

The only Indicator that Phantom was around were the scrapped Command bots that were laying around.

Kingsley lead the Charge Frying every Bot they came across with the "Searing Verdict".

Deegs mowed down all bots that hid behind Corners.

Todesbringer took out all heavily armored Automatons.

At 1024 they arrived at a Data Terminal, Downloaded all the Information that was saved there then continued to move deeper into the Facility.

They came across several big Storage rooms that were filled with Automaton parts, they were destroyed by Orbital Barrages and then burned down with Napalm Barrages from the Sovereigns Divine.

At 1103 the Squad arrived at the Data Core, they hacked it, downloaded everything then Uploaded a Virus that Fried the Systems of the Fabricators.

They walked towards a Dropship Hangar for Extraction.

Along their Route they met three Factory Strider which forced them into Cover.

Deegs and Todesbringer drew the Enemy’s fire away from Kingsley by running to the right and left side.

This allowed Kingsley to throw in his "Hot Pockets" which burned two of the three.

The third Factory Strider was put under heavy Fire by Deegs Ultimatum, Todesbringer's Quasar and Kingsley's "Starflayer".

It blew up within Seconds.

At 1132 The Squad arrived at the Dropship Hangar an cleared it of Enemy Ships and called in Extraction.

Once they sat inside the Shuttle a Orbital Annihilation.

Every Super Destroyer that was stationed above it opened fire.

The Facility was completely leveled Several experimental Hellbombs were send in which turned the rest of the Facility into a big Crater.

It was burned with Napalm afterwards ensuring that nothing survived.

After 'Operation Hidden Key' was completed the Science team, the Data Analysis team and the Cyberdecryption team started working on the Downloaded.

The Cybersecurity team Ensured that nothing could erase the Data or Infect the System with a Virus.

The Olympus Divers kept up their Siege and on the 05.10.2185 at 2147 Menkent was Liberated and the Major Order completed.
